We humans tend to think we are so important that we are the center of the Universe. The Chinese extol their Middle-Kingdom as the center of the Earth, to which we should all do obeisance. Islam believes they are commanded to establish the worldwide Caliphate, by force if necessary. England thought their empire was the means of teaching all the other colonies and “primitive” civilizations the English way of life. The early Catholic Church believed the earth to be the center of the solar system and persecuted anyone who questioned it. My point is that we all think we are special, and we see the universe through our singular, human perspective. This thinking comes naturally to us, for, as babies, everything is about us.
So, now we are engaging that same self-centered focus, when we think that the earth is the subject of alien interests and visitors from another planet. The problem with this thinking is that it makes zero mathematical sense. Let’s look at the odds statistically: how on Earth would the aliens actually find us?
First of all, scientists estimate that only 1% of the stars in our own galaxy may have planets capable of supporting or developing life. So, even within our own galaxy, the likelihood of developing a sentient alien species capable of time dimensional space travel is minuscule. And even if there were such a species, we have another problem.
Of all of the 2 trillion galaxies, and of all the billions stars in our own Milky Way, somehow these beings would find us on the outer rim of an insignificant galaxy where our furthest broadcast of radio waves would have not reached beyond 100 light years? Not just finding a needle in a haystack, it is finding one needle in one of a trillion haystacks. The ego-centric hubris of thinking we could not only be found, but be of interest to such aliens, reveals just how arrogant we are!
That is, unless…
What if the earth was the center of God’s salvation history? In light of the supposed alien visitations and interest, what seems to make more sense now is the First Book of Enoch. The book tells of advanced watcher angels who helped humans build massive cities and structures before the Younger Dryas 12,000 years ago. These watchers could take many forms and eventually became corrupted through lust and took on human wives, creating a hybrid race of beings. Thus, to put a lid on the corruption of humanity through hybridization, God allowed a massive flood at the end of the Younger Dryas.
If earth is the apple of God’s eye and the focus of his salvation story, the interest in our planet by angels and demons makes more sense. Elijah, after all seems to have been taken up in a ‘fiery chariot’ (a spacecraft?) 2900 years ago…
But what if the evidence of aliens is man-made? What would be the motivation?
If you wanted to deceive the nations and you wanted to gain control of everyone through fear, you would establish a worldwide threat and create the illusion of a great alien power so that all the globe would submit to your control. Perfect for the globalist agenda. Covid didn’t work, so we have to create something existential.
“And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days. And then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect. But be on guard; I have told you all things beforehand.” – Mark 13:20–23 (ESV)
“The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:9–12 (ESV)
