The Media Has No Right To Complain about Donald Trump

The media has no right to complain about Donald Trump… They created him. It is funny to watch the “news” commentators almost apoplectic over Donald Trump and the things he says. Even more frustrating and upsetting to the “elite” (who know so much better than the rest of us yokels what we should think, believe, […]

Samson Agonistes – The Donald

“If I had my way, I would tear this whole building down.” – Samson and Delilah – Bob Weir, The Grateful Dead I don’t know if God has appointed Donald Trump to win the presidency. I know he is making a lot of people mad, but I see a lot of similarities to the Story […]

Replacing Scalia, the Politics of Justice and The Role of the Supreme Court

Why are the nations in an uproar and the people wasting time in futile plans? – Psalm 2:1 The fact that there is such a looming fight over the replacement of Justice Antonin Scalia proves one thing: the Supreme Court has become a politically activist institution instead of the deliberative body the Founders intended and […]

A Scientist Challenges Religion with Facts

A Scientist Challenges Religion with Facts

When the facts don’t confirm your conclusions, then ignore them. That is the definition of belief vs. Science. Too bad this religion is secular politics.

OMGosh … Black Friday/Cyber Monday OVERLOAD

It finally happened. I’ve reached bargain shopping overload! I can’t take it anymore. This Thanksgiving I had a blowout. I received so many Black Friday/Cyber Monday emails that I checked out mentally. I could no longer cope. Even for things I am eventually interested in getting, I could not face the onslaught of options and […]

Obama, Racism, and The Presidency

For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind. – Hosea 8:7 Let me first say that I have been a pastor in an all Black congregation (we didn’t call ourselves African-American back then… we called ourselves “Black” and were not ashamed of it!). Although I did not vote for him, I had […]

Dante’s Inferno, Pedophilia, and the Catholic Church

Dante’s Inferno is a picture of hell with 9 levels, each with greater punishments for sins committed on the earth. Dante was not afraid to place in hell Cardinals, Bishops, and Popes. Dante’s point was that corruption in the Roman Catholic Church by its leaders was just as worthy of punishment, if not more so, […]

France, Gun Control, And Terrorism

France has extremely strict gun control laws. While its citizens are disarmed, terrorists are fully armed. Contrast that with Israel, where the people have a right to defend themselves… a right which idealists and utopians want to take away from the People of the United States, thinking it will make them safe and eliminate violence. All it will do is leave them at the mercy of criminals and extremists. It is a wonderful idea, like John Lennon’s Imagine, but it will not work. The defense against lawlessness and terrorism is a well-armed citizenry.

What if the Constitution Had Not Compromised on Slavery?

If there had been no compromise on the issue of slavery, the problem of slavery might still exist today, for without the compromise, there would have been no United States and no Civil War.

Esau’s Porridge: Federal Health Care and The Loss of Liberty

Esau’s Porridge: Federal Health Care and The Loss of Liberty Reprint from The Scholars Corner* – 1994 by Jefferis Kent Peterson The Founder’s of this nation raised the battle cry for liberty with the words oft repeated, “We have no king but Jesus!” But our contemporaries have abandoned our historical quest for freedom with a […]
