France has extremely strict gun control laws. While its citizens are disarmed, terrorists are fully armed. Contrast that with Israel, where the people have a right to defend themselves… a right which idealists and utopians want to take away from the People of the United States, thinking it will make them safe and eliminate violence. All it will do is leave them at the mercy of criminals and extremists. It is a wonderful idea, like John Lennon’s Imagine, but it will not work.
