Sanctification then is not something we achieve, it is something that we receive. Sanctification is God’s work, for he is the One who makes us Holy: Our righteousness is Christ and He alone. He is our Sanctification, our Sanctifier! He is the Holy One who lives inside us. It is He that is holy within us, not our flesh.
