I am not and have not been a “birther.”  Frankly, if Obama was not born in the USA, then international powers far greater than our democratic institutions are at work, picking and choosing our “leaders” for us. However, after watching this video on YouTube and downloading the birth certificate myself and opening it in Illustrator, I can attest that the document the Whitehouse posted is a forgery. Someone, either knowingly or stupidly, did a very bad job at a counterfeit.  Any document that is scanned in, which this document should have been, would be a flat document, where no parts would be able to be pulled apart in Illustrator.  However, the idiot who forged this document forgot to flatten the file and left all the Illustrator layers intact, showing exactly which elements were doctored.  This documentary is of several parts and you can view it here:

This leads me to a question, however, if Obama was really born in the USA, why all this effort to create a forgery?

A second question would be, if he were not born in the USA and not legally allowed to serve as President, would all the legislation he signed become null and void?
