Government as Savior: A Tower of Babel
God help us, for we have voted ourselves into this mess by deceiving the people into believing that government is truly our savior. That is an idolatry, like Babel, that God cannot allow. And the healing of it may be the destruction of the very idols in which we have placed our trust.

Congress is like a College Student with a Credit Card and no Spending Limit. Credit card companies give college students free credit cards because they know the students will enter into life-long loans. The youth become perpetual slaves of the credit card companies, whose interest rate charges are so high that the student falls further behind with every payment.
